I am a retired hospital executive with 32 years experience in leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer. Retirement has been great because it has allowed me to explore pursuits that are interesting, stimulating and provide me with new ways to learn and share. The intent of this blog is to feature articles on topics that can help individuals and organizations perform better and meet their goals and to spur additional thought and action. The ideas that I share are a synthesis of my own experience, including my faith, with things that I have observed, heard and read from history, current events and published research. There is nothing new under the sun so we are well served to learn from each other.
I live in Tennessee with my wife, Pam, and close to our three adult sons, our daughter-in-law and our grandson. I am also an amateur artist and will occasionally share some of my work on the site. If you like something you read, please share it, and your comments are appreciated!
